Clarisonic Skin Care Brush

As a licensed esthetician I've known about Clarisonic and it's incredible sonic-brush for a couple of years now. In fact, I use them during my facial treatments and keep several at home for myself and my teenagers. It's as essential to their daily skin routine as any product.

Created by the same people who invented the sonic-care toothbrush, the Clarisonic facial brush uses much of the same technology. The oscillating head moves back and forth at a sonic frequency of over 300 movements per second and the two zones work with the skin and not against it. The first zone flexes and buffers between the inner and outer brushes and works deep within the pores to remove dirt and oil. The second zone is the inner brush and cleanses, clarifies, and stimulates the skin.
The Clarisonic's main claim to fame is its ability to cleanse the skin better than any other system I've used, up to 6 times more cleansing than by using a washcloth alone. For teenagers or anyone struggling with acne or for women who wear make-up (ladies I know you love your Mac cosmetics, but you've seen what it does to your skin), this item is indispensable.

Although the price-tag is a little steep at $195.00, it is money well spent. It works with any skincare system that you are currently using and you will be amazed by the results. You can order it directly at: http://www.clarisonic.com/shop/store.php or use their store locater if you don't want to wait the 4 weeks for delivery.

Eco Friendly Blowdryer

Would you use a microwave to dry your hair every morning? I certainly hope not, but that's essentially what each and every one of us is doing when we pick up our trusty blowdryer as we get ready each morning.

The average blowdryer emits 200-400 mG of harmful EMF radiation, which is more than a microwave! Does this mean that the 'dry-head' is dead? Should we all be hanging our heads out of our car windows as we drive to work for a 'natural' blowdry? No. The BarBar ECO-8000 is the answer.

This little beauty uses a ceramic block instead of a metal coil. Not only is it safer and performs better, but it only emits 1.9 mG of EMF! You can't get lower than that unless "Pablo the Poolboy" is fanning you with palm fronds and most of us aren't that lucky.

The ECO-8000 also out performs the 1800 watt blowdryers on the market while only using 1000 watts. You can cut your drying time in half while saving electricity and helping the planet and still look good!

For those readers that are interested, you can find the BarBar ECO-8000 at hairflixshop.com which is an authorized reseller. Here's a link: eco-dryer. You can also save an additional $20 by entering the promo code "Heather" in the shopping cart when you check out. Hey, that 20 bucks you save might not be enough to hire Pablo, but maybe you can put it in your 'poolboy' fund!
